July 24, 1906
Check out this article from July 24, 1906 - 117 years ago today! It shows the JWK Deep Spring Distillery, as well as the schematics for the new JWK office building at 13-15 W 9th Street (now MLK Blvd). This office was the first steel structure in the city of Chattanooga. The distillery was demolished in 1927, and the Kelly building was razed in the early 1980s. (Click for full view!)
