Golden Age

STRAIGHT RYE WHISKEY

Golden Age Straight Rye Whiskey has an exciting mash bill of 65% rye, 20% malted barley, and 15% malted rye. It’s bottled at an impressive 94 proof (47% ABV).

Golden Age is named after Kelly’s original rye. It was first offered at Kelly’s tavern located at 833 Market Street in 1892. This tavern was managed by Ed Mullery, then the oldest mixologist in the city.

TASTING NOTES

This luscious straight rye whiskey is matured in superior oak barrels for a minimum of two years. Such maturity perfectly marries the rye, malted barley, and malted rye for a soft and creamy mouth feel. This whiskey has a nose of sweet orchard fruits along with classic rye spices. It has tasting notes that start out lightly sweet, turn to crusty bread, and finish with a bit of white pepper.
