Elaborate Ads

J.W. Kelly was quite inventive when it came to advertising. He began his business in Chattanooga in 1866, and the earliest advertisement we’ve located came from 1871. As time went on, however, we discovered that Kelly used more elaborate etchings in his advertisements. They’re quite fascinating to read. Here’s a selection of them from 1898 & 1899
