The Gold Rush
INGREDIENTS:
2 ounces J.W. Kelly Single Barrel bourbon;
¾ ounce fresh lemon juice;
¾ ounce honey syrup (recipe follows);
Lemon twist for garnish.
PREPARATION:
Add ingredients to a shaker with ice and shake until cold.
Strain into a rocks glass with fresh ice.
Garnish with lemon twist.
INGREDIENTS (Honey Syrup):
1 cup honey;
1 cup water.
PREPARATION (Honey Syrup):
Combine ingredients in a small saucepan over medium-high heat.
Simmer until honey is dissolved, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat and let cool.
Store, covered, in the refrigerator.

Bourbon Peach Punch
INGREDIENTS:
1.5 ounces J.W. Kelly Old Milford Bourbon
1 ounce pineapple juice
1 ounce lemon juice
1 peach sliced into 8 slices
black pepper to garnish
PREPARATION:
Make peach ice cubes by adding 1 sliced peach into each cavity of an ice cube tray that makes 6 large cubes.
Fill with water and place in freezer.
After ice cubes are hard, muddle two peach slices in the bottom of a shaker.
Add bourbon, lemon juice and ice and shake to mix and chill.
Place one peach ice cube in a tumbler glass and strain contents of shaker over it.
Top with an ounce of pineapple juice and fresh-cracked black pepper.
